Bonnie is a proven social and environmental expert and educator who knows how to transform traditional thinking, facilitate constructive stakeholder dialogue, and inspire breakthroughs in global supply chains. She has driven multi-stakeholder initiatives that served to scale global impact and effect real change.

For over 30 years, Bonnie has been the trusted advisor to many leaders of the world’s most recognizable brands. She has held numerous high-profile positions at the global forefront of a low carbon, resource protected and just economy and is committed to using innovative and scalable technologies to promote community dialogue, accelerate sustainability and advance human rights. She is known for disrupting, designing, operationalizing, and promoting large-scale sustainability programs and organizations with a focus on governance, transparency, supply chain traceability, verification, and certification.

Some of her most prolific roles include Strategic Advisor and Business Development, Sustainable Brands; Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Global Sustainability for Mattel Toys; Executive Director of Walmart led The Sustainability Consortium (TSC); Director of Global Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing for Hewlett-Packard (HP); Senior Partner with Environmental Resources Management (ERM) among others.

Today, Bonnie is a proven creative solution-finding strategist and environmental and human rights activist with BonnEco, Inc, specializing in environmental justice and edupreneurship. She is also an educator, researcher, and strategic planner, specializing in complex global and local challenges and sustainable supply chains. She teaches Sustainable Supply Chain at the Harvard and UCLA extensions helping students and lifelong learners to understand how all consumer goods are made and what can be done to address complex environmental and socioeconomic injustices.  

Bonnie is an innovative leader with a lifelong commitment to the environment, human rights, and learning. She believes in the power of technology and web-based collaboration and understands that gamification, blockchain, TechEd, AI, augmented and virtual reality can and will dramatically accelerate a more sustainable future for future generations

Bonnie received a BA in Sociology from Pennsylvania State University, a Master’s degree in how learning technologies can accelerate sustainability and advance human rights from Pepperdine and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change at Pepperdine’s School of Education.
