Christian Forthomme

Founder and CEO of RealChange. Expert of in-person and virtual learning expeditions to Silicon Valley and beyond. International innovation and sustainability entrepreneur. A connector of leaders globally, an educator and senior leadership coach.       

Christian has decades of experience in organizational transformation and leadership development, cultural change processes, and building effective multicultural teams. He has spent the last 30 years launching companies that have helped global organizations and leaders change successfully through 230 transformational learning expeditions to date in North America and Europe, and the establishment of Innovation Labs in Silicon Valley. 

Christian has launched two successful innovative global consulting firms in his career, RealChange (1996 – present) and WDHB (1989 – 1995). He also directed a pioneering MBA program in Organizational Transformation and Leadership and was a key contributor to the success of leadership development, culture change, and sustainability initiatives in North America and Europe. 

His clients include Google, P&G, AXA, Autodesk, Genentech, Airbus, J&J, Accor, Danone, SAP, IDEO, the Gates Foundation, Odwalla, Renault, Groupe Yves Rocher, Skanska, EDF, Carrefour, Rhodia, Bayer,BT, Nature et Découvertes. Barilla, Nissan and Stanley Black & Decker.

Earlier in his career, Christian opened new markets in Southeast Asia for a major French paper company and while a graduate student in France, launched a nationally recognized organization that coordinated students at ten ivy-league universities for market surveys abroad.        

Christian’s work at RealChange has been featured in the New York Times and Les Echos, France, in the Journal de 20h of TF1, France prime-time evening TV news program, and on France 2 Television.

As the CEO of Real Change, Christian takes an innovative approach to change management and leadership development. He is passionate about inspiring vision and authentic leadership and is dedicated to helping executives, management teams and entrepreneurs refocus themselves and their organizations towards what truly matters for them and for the world.          He holds an MBA from ESSEC and a Master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Consciousness Study from John F. Kennedy University. He is also a graduate of the inaugural cohort of the Executive Program of Presidio Graduate School.
