Deborah Egerton, Ph.D. is an internationally respected psychologist, creative thought leader, executive coach, and corporate facilitator. Dr. Egerton specializes in diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism work with individuals and organizations to create intentional culture change.

As a member of the board of directors of the International Enneagram Association, she has helped to bring more awareness about diversity and inclusion to the Enneagram community where she is often referred to as the “Enneagram JEDI” (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion).

She is an IEA certified Enneagram practitioner, master teacher, and coach who utilizes the Enneagram for social justice work worldwide. 

Deborah brings over two decades of expertise in DE&I and anti-racism work to today’s troubled world. She is the founder and president of Trinity Transition Consultants, a consultancy firm specializing in DE&I, Executive & leadership team development, Enneagram & developmental team coaching. Dedicated to transforming workplace culture since 1997, Trinity Transition Consultants coaches to create socially responsible leaders invested in developing a positive, productive workplace environment. Deborah empowers leaders to unearth their core values, bringing them to life within the organization. Leaning into her experience and expertise working with the human mosaic, she demonstrates that the key to the success of any organization is the relationships between individuals at all levels in the workplace. 

Deborah’s focus is to align any leadership team and its employees with the mission, vision, and values of their organization, empowering individuals to evolve and navigate 21st-century challenges while keeping the dignity and respect for humanity at the forefront of their actions. She is dedicated to fostering personal development and facilitating career growth, focusing her efforts on respecting the uniqueness of every individual and honoring the humanity in us all.  As a certified practitioner of the Enneagram, she leverages this tool for introspective self-discovery and organizational insight. Deborah has enabled her clients to get “unstuck” and move out of self-defeating negative organizational behavioral patterns.  

Dr. Egerton has worked with corporate, nonprofit and government entities, including Amtrak, The Kellogg Foundation, the US Postal Service, Mobile Oil, The Maryland- Capital Parks and Planning Commission, National Recreation and Parks Association, U.S. Army Behavioral Science Institute and Marriott CU Inc., National Institutes of Health, RegenXbio, Department of Public Utilities, City of Alexandria, Va. and Turnitin. Deborah was the Associate Director of the Mentors Scholarship Program, student psychotherapist, and Special Advisor to the President on Multicultural Affairs at the State University of New York between 1993-1997. 

In 1993, she founded and served as the director of the Runaway Center of El Paso & Emergency Shelter, Lee Moor Children’s Home. In 1986 Dr. Egerton became the director of the Cooperative Work Experience Program in Augsburg, Germany. In 1994 Dr. Egerton served as the Research Coordinator for the Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in association with The U.S. Military Academy at West Point. 

Her passion is leading others to understand their own behaviors and manifest the best of who they are to regain the passion behind their purpose. She is dedicated to facilitating the challenges of communication across the broad spectrum of diversity. In 2010 Deborah began creating safe spaces for having difficult conversations, which led to her trademarked process of the Cultural Allies Network for Diversity Learning Experiences (C.A.N.D.L.E.) and her virtual movement The Platinum Connection. In 2020 Deborah launched the Platinum Wisdom Warriors bringing together a global network of women for collaboration, connection, and societal transformation. 

Deborah is currently working on a book encapsulating some of her philosophies and experiences as a DE&I and OD practitioner, executive coach, corporate facilitator, family-woman, and friend. She holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of Texas, M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Webster University, and a Ph.D. in Health Sciences, Saba University, Netherlands, Antilles.
