With over a decade’s experience in system change, leadership development, and organizational development, Jaap brings clear vision, strategic expertise, analytical skills, and interpersonal sensitivity to co-create lasting transformation.
Before his current position as the co-founder and managing partner of The Change Collective, Jaap spent several years as a management consultant leading functional teams in multiple sectors. He was responsible for delivering change management and leadership development projects in an international environment with clients such as AkzoNobel, Roche, ING and Tata.
At The Change Collective, Jaap works collaboratively with a team of experienced changemakers to support multinationals on their transformation journey towards an economy in which creating regenerative value, sustainability, and well-being are the key drivers.
He is passionate about reshaping the future of business through radical transformation and the employment of a holistic, spirited approach connecting people and purpose.
Since 2011 Jaap has had a lectureship at the University of Amsterdam on Change Management and Organisational Structure & Culture. He is the Lead facilitator for trails at Trailblazers, 1st place winner of the FD Gazelle business award 2019, Dutch Financial Times. He is the Senior advisor to boards (C-level) in multinational companies including Roche, Aegon, Tata Steel, NN, Eneco and Allianz.
Jaap has a Master’s degree in Organizational Psychology and was trained in systemic work and coaching at the Phoenix Institute.
