Jose Edson Santos developed his career in supply chain and procurement at large multinational companies in technology and consumer products industries. He combines this 20-year business and corporate experience with over 10 years of experience in social impact and technological entrepreneurship ecosystems.
He has held leading positions in high tech companies such as Compaq, HP, ABC Xtal and Digilab (Bradesco) and was a Banking tech solutions provider for the largest banks in Brazil.
Jose has experience providing creative and consistent solutions in legal, economic and social matters. In addition to supporting supply chain development in multinational companies he also led the transformation of relationships with a diverse and complex network of business partners.
He has implemented initiatives in sustainable business practices, including fair trade, compliance, and contingency plans and collaborated to support local SMB supplier partners in Latin America, creating significant benefits to all stakeholders.
He is the co-creator of Capta, Incubadora de Base Tecnologica with FIT – Fletronics Instituto de Tecnologia – an initiative led by FIT’s and its global clients, including IBM, HP, and others, as well as universities to support the development of the Tech Startup Ecosystem in Sorocaba-SP.
Jose is a capable leader who integrates his business and social expertise in collaborations with organizations and companies from Public, Private and Civil Society. His work has focused on innovation, leadership and developing solutions where human evolution and respect for Nature are core values.
Jose was a Board Member for Banco Pérola – Microfinance Social Organization, a mentor at Inova – Startups Program and Desafio Unicamp, both incubator programs of the State University of Campinas – Unicamp, the most advanced tech ecosystem in Brazil. José has also collaborated with Ashoka Brazil, mentoring in Sustainability and Innovation for the Ashoka Fellowship Program – G2Impact, and held the position of co-director of Operations at Global Academy Foundation Brazil.
Currently, Jose is involved in a two-year program of study and research – Integração Sistêmica de Terapias Naturais – Bioluz, where he has been initiated in a wide variety of natural therapeutic practices supporting clients to work on themselves and find purpose and meaning in their lives, ultimately leading them to create a regenerative impact in the course of their actions.
Jose is the co-founder of Housidea Consulting services, providing solutions for individual entrepreneurs in the fields of Education, Arts, Sustainable Agriculture, Technology, Micro Finance, Family businesses. At Housidea Jose also collaborates with initiatives to support Indigenous communities, youth leadership programs, empowering Women, and local businesses among others.
He has a postgraduate degree in Strategic Management and an MBA in Information Technology.
