Leslie has spent the bulk of her career at the heart of business performance. Through hands-on and executive experience in both supply chain operations and finance, she learned to design and operate the levers of business with great predictability           

As the Chief Audit Executive for KLA, a $4.5B semiconductor equipment firm, Leslie was tapped by the board to build the company’s Enterprise Risk Management system, leading a global team of executives. During her time at KLA, Leslie held line responsibility in manufacturing operations and successfully ran a portfolio of supply chain optimization programs. She also implemented KLA’s first Sales and Operations Planning process, established the company’s Council on Intellectual Property and its executive panel on Risk Horizon Monitoring. These processes became integral to KLA’s strategic planning and management practices in the years since they were established.

As VP of Supply Chain Planning, Leslie led Sales and Operations Planning, Global Production Control, New Product Introduction, and Inventory for NetApp, a $5B data company that achieved its aggressive revenue and inventory targets every quarter during her tenure.                 

As Treasurer and Board Chair for The Healthier Kids Foundation of Santa Clara County, a California non-profit, Leslie introduced accounting and audit processes that led to the discovery of significant additional cash reserves.

Leslie uses her success to open doors for others, serving on the board of directors of a 1,000 member chapter of Women In Technology, on the board of Global Women’s Leadership Network, and as a mentor and advocate for scores of businesswomen and men.

Leslie is passionate about serving corporate boards and CEOs to triumphantly navigate the shift to sustainability, a rapidly emerging enterprise risk which she views as the most urgent business mandate of our time. She takes joy in learning and understanding complex systems and people and believes that businesses perform best when their customers, suppliers, and employees are treated well. 

Leslie received a Bachelor of Arts in the humanities from U.C. Berkeley and went on to learn about semiconductor manufacturing yield, operations, risk management, and other disciplines through self-study, coursework, and generous, expert colleagues and family members. This love of applied learning led her to become the most senior woman at KLA.                        

Her interests include biomimicry, lean economics, emerging technology and design, mindfulness, community, and learning to play the guitar. She is married and has two grown children.
